Secure Printers for QR Release

With QR Release, users release documents by scanning a QR code label attached to a printer. The QR code label contains printer information (e.g. IP address) that makes it easy to identify printers.

To secure printers for QR Release:

1. Navigate to the Secure > Secure Printers tab of the web console.
2. Select the checkboxes next to the printers you want to secure.
3. Click the Deploy QR Release button.
4. This enables QR Release for the selected printers.

Note: The Deploy QR Release option only appears on the Secure Printers grid if the QR Release checkbox has been selected on the Secure Print Settings page (under User Workflows).

The QR Release column will show a checkmark. This makes the Print and Print All buttons available in the Secure Print mobile app, allowing end-users to scan a QR code label on the printer to release their print jobs. The

Remove QR Release

To remove QR Release for selected printers, simply click the Remove QR Release button.
