How to activate HP Secure Print
Before print users can release jobs from secure printers, they must first activate HP Secure Print. There are two steps to activate Secure Print.
Step 1: Register to Secure Print
The way in which users register to Secure Print depends on the authentication provider set up in the Settings screen.
- Email authentication- Register email address to Secure Print.
- OpenID Connect authentication - Register using your OpenID Connect credentials (e.g. Azure AD, Google, PingFederate accounts).
Note: With Active Directory authentication, users simply send documents to the Secure Printer. User registration is not required.
